'Yes, you read that right.According to the leaker “Kimachi”, Sony’s upcoming console is going to be faster than expected. If the leaked GPU clock samples of 2.00 GHz are correct, the PS5 might truely be faster than the RTX 2070 and on par with RTX 2080.Since we know that the PS5 will be using an AMD Navi based GPU, an overclocked RX 5700 XT with a clock speed of just over 1900 MHz might be our best prediction. This comes to 9.2 teraflops on RDNA architecture and 14 teraflops on GCN architecture, which is on par with the earlier claimed 12 – 14 TF for the PS5.What we know so far about the PlayStation 5 We know that the upcoming PS5 will have 8K support, although it might mostly be limited to videos. The console will also have ray-tracing capabilities and some kind of 3D audio output.Apart from this, the PS5 will have a faster storage capability with Sony’s proprietary SSD, 3.3 GHz Zen2 based CPU with 8C/16T.For GPU, we can expect some kind of custom AMD Navi GPU whose performance is on par or higher than the RX 5700 XT.Although GeForce RTX 2080 level performance sounds neat, take it with a grain of salt.It would be a remarkable achievement if Sony fits that amount of performance in a console priced under $500.If the rumors are actually true, expect the upcoming PS5 to be pricier than previously anticipated.Do you think that the PS5 is going to be on par with the RTX 2080?Let us know in the comments below!Read more: A MD Ryzen 3000 Mobile CPU Lineup Surfaces with Vega 9 Graphics AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3rd Gen ‘Sharkstooth’ CPU with 32 Cores Spotted, 20% Faster than 299WX . 'Amazon had recently posted placeholder listings for a new game by WB Montreal for the PC, Xbox One and PS4 though they were soon taken down after. The sudden appearance of these listings, however, seems to most likely hint at the fact that the studio will soon be revealing their next title.WB Montreal previously worked on Batman Arkham Origins, a prequel to Rocksteady’s Arkham Asylum.Orgins , while not being the most well received title in the franchise, did a, nonetheless, respectable job of emulating all the things that made the games great. As such rumours have floated around stating that the studio is currently working on another prequel to the series and that it will feature Bruce Wayne and Robin in the lead roles. There are also rumours suggesting that the new game will, in fact, be a sequel and that Bruce’s son, Damian Wayne, will be the main character.Whatever the truth is doesn’t matter as, if the listings are any indication, it should be confirmed soon enough, possibly at Gamescom which begins just later this month. . 'Here’s some good news for Death Stranding fans who were disappointed about the games platform exclusivity.Sony’s no longer referring to Kojima’s, well, whatever it is, as a Playstation 4 exclusive. How do we know this?Sony has an official list of PS4 exclusive titles on its international websites.A user over on the ResetEra forums noticed that Death Stranding is no longer on the list. You can see the exclusives list right here.If you use Wayback Machine to go back to the website as it appears at the end of May, you’ll see Death Stranding listed there, next to Driveclub, Days Gone, Derecine, Doki-Doki Universe and all the other exclusive D’s (wow that sounds weird). But take a look at the website right now and Death Stranding is no longer on the list.Death Stranding is due a new trailer and some announcements on August 19th, shortly before Gamescom.Considering that it’s been delisted from Sony’s list of exclusives, it’s very much possible that we’ll see an announcement about its elusive PC version then.If you remember, way back when Death Stranding was first announced, Kojima Productions didn’t rule out a PC version. However, we saw references to non-Sony platforms disappear soon after, as Kojima and Sony collaborated more closely on the game.If there is going to be a multiplatform announcement though, we’d bet it’s just PS4 and PC.Kojima continues to have a good working relationship with Sony so it’s hard to see Death Stranding coming out on Microsoft’s console too.You never know, though.Read more: NVIDIA DLSS is a Blurry Mess in F1, AMD FidelityFX Shines AMD Navi 14 (Radeon RX 5600) and Navi 12 (RX 5800) Driver Submitted for… .
